We are a place of healing, hope and success that will allow you to live life without drugs or alcohol. We operate on the principles found in the 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous. We offer a sober living environment that focuses on unity, service and recovery. Recovery Residences are a great way to meet people with a common goal! Living in a sober living/halfway house is a great experience that leads to long term sobriety. Our program is $1200 a month and includes everything but food. Stepping Stones of Atlanta is also part of some non-profits that offer scholarships for those seeking treatment. Stepping Stones of Atlanta Recovery Residence offers a safe, structured environment (also known as sober living house or halfway house) for men who are recovering from the disease of addiction. Stepping Stones of Atlanta provides a supportive, drug-free environment in a community setting. Our clients are tested multiple times a week. Stepping Stones of Atlanta Recovery Residence is 12 step based and offers a sober living environment. The 12-steps of Alcoholics Anonymous are, in our opinion, is the only proven method of establishing long-term sobriety for people who suffer from drug addiction or alcoholism. By aligning Stepping Stone’s sober living program with the 12 Steps, we not only access the therapeutic value of the Steps, but also establish a support system for the clients. Stepping Stones of Atlanta Recovery Residence believes that each client has value as a person, capable of self-determination and is therefore due respect and honesty.
When you have a strong group of guys who strive for a common goal, sobriety, it is very beneficial. Our sober living takes guys out to eat randomly to bond, or even white water rafting. Every year we do something around Christmas to give back to the community. Last year we handed out over $1,000 dollars in gift cards to the homeless. It's all about building relationships and connecting with each other. Our sober living is different from other programs because we get to know our clients, and they are not just a "number". Chris and Staff are very hands on and get to see and talk to clients on an everyday basis. It literally becomes a second family who operates like any other family, but sober. This summer, we took all our clients white water rafting. It was a great experience, It teaches our guys how to have fun while being sober. Sober living allows you to connect with guys who have the common goal of staying sober. While in addiction, you miss out on a lot of life. Each year, we try to do some sort of activity that brings everyone together. A huge part of this is about fellowship and brotherhood. When I was in sober living, some of the best memories I have are when we did group outings. It taught me how to have fun sober and find new hobbies.
